The art of collecting Spirit and (re)memory -Dah curious corner of Viktor le. Givens

Viktor le. Givens tells his story of how his collecting was inspired after searching through the remnants of his family’s ancestral home.  After his haul of treasured items was gathered, he retreated to his studio where he says,”I became flushed with elation and was mounted by a spirit of recollection and recall.”

“This exhibition offers an invitation to activate cultural memory and curiosity. Libraries being repositories, are ideal social infrastructure to invite this type of activity.
